Skiing Cup Noodle

I needed to analyze all the angles of skiing on a slope in order to recreate a realistic movement. It was so important to know what the angle of the cup and the angle of the chopsticks (as skies) should be on each frame. It is a looping video, so I divided a full period in 12 stops in a way that the 13th stop would be exactly the same as the 1st one. As a result the video can loop for ever.

Green lines show what’s the angle of the skier on each stop (frame) and black arrows show the angle of the skies (chopsticks here) on the snow.

Since I was looking at it as the camera is moving with our skiing Cup Noodle, I had to map all the positions on a single horizontal line, so the skiing cup stays in the middle of the frame.
